We call ourselves SNUG AS BUG but we are formally known as 8Bridge LLP and we would like to be referred to as SNUG AS BUG. We trust you understand that we will need to put together these terms and conditions so that we, SNUG AS BUG and yourself as a parent or caregiver (“PARENT”) of the registered child (“CHILD”) are clear on rights and obligations. We may change these terms and conditions at any time and as such, each time you register with us, please check back wtih us on the latest version of the terms and conditions that you are agreeing to.
(Version: 12 July 2017)

  • For our Toddler Atelier class, PARENT must be present. All other classes are drop off classes.
  • PARENT will be required to be present for the Family Open Studio Time.
  • CHILD must be of the appropriate age for the registered class (please check with us if you are unsure). We create classes that are developmentally appropriate in hopes that each child will have a fulfilling experience.
  • CHILD must be toilet-ready for all drop-off classes or camps. Please make sure that the child has visited the toilet before class as we would not want him/her to miss anything in class.
  • We will not allow CHILD to wait outside the studio unattended so please come into the studio to retrieve CHILD after class.
  • PARENT must be contactable at ALL times during class in case we need to contact you in an emergency.
  • PARENT must let us know if you have asked someone else to pick up the child and if possible, please provide a photo of the person picking up the CHILD.
  • Punctuality is crucial. The CHILD should be dropped 5 minutes before the start of class or camp and PARENT should be present and available to pick up the CHILD at least 5 minutes before the end of the class or camp. Please be on time as we are not staffed for after hours care.
  • If your CHILD is unwell, we reserve the right to turn the CHILD away from attending the class. This is for the well being and health of the other children attending the class.
  • If the CHILD missed a class for an acceptable reason, we offer to make up with one Open Studio Time for each missed class. We will not provide any refunds of fees for classes that you have registered and paid for. We can discuss and agree on the appropriate date and time for the make-up Open Studio Time. Please note that we may not be able to provide the same class you have registered the CHILD which the CHILD had missed.
  • If the CHILD has any special needs, please provide a written description (via email) prior to enrollment being accepted. Depending on the needs, we may not be ready or have sufficent manpower to attend to the CHILD.
  • As SNUG AS BUG emphasizes experiential and active participation, things will get messy (including the CHILD) and while we will provide apron/smock and cleaning materials, we cannot be responsible for any stained or dirty clothes. So please have the CHILD come in clothes that you consider “expendable”.
  • We may take photographs / videos during our classes or camp that may contain images or video of CHILD. We will use them on our social media platforms such as facebook page and Instagram account for promotional purposes. If you are not okay with this, please let us know. Otherwise, by registering and allowing the CHILD to participate in the classes or camp, you, as PARENT, are consenting to allow us to use such photos and videos for our promotional purposes. All copyright and any intellect property in such photographs and videography belongs to SNUG AS BUG / 8Bridge LLP.

  • We do provide a trial class for a fee. You can decide whether the CHILD will join us for weekly classes by registering and paying ahead based on the schedules (subject to availablity) that work for you. For selected classes, we do provide a packaged deal if you sign the CHILD up for blocks of 5 sessions in advance at a time. Please email us for more information.
  • For classes that are provided by parties other than SNUG AS BUG / 8Bridge LLP, please liaise with the providers separately on class schedules and fees. We will let you know if a class is provided by a third party on our website or at the time of registration.
